Create an app that engages users and also aims to help customers looking to purchase paint to re-colour their home/work space with better identifying the overall effect of the colour.
The client wanted to simplify the process of selecting a new paint for the house, by providing a solution to help customers identify how the chosen colour will look, prior to it. We found this idea fresh and exciting and took the opportunity to research how we could simplify this app to benefit all users and make something as simple as buying paint and exciting experience.
In drafting our wireframes for the app we played close attention to ease of navigation and simplicity in the user interface so that the app could be utilized by anyone.
We took into consideration the nature of the product and came up with designs that complimented the brand in terms of simplicity and use of colour, so that when presented to the client they were satisfied with the final outcome of the designs.
Once all last minute tweaks were complete we shared the design with the client to get their approval to move ahead on the remaining designs. Apart from a few minor tweaks the design was approved and we were given a concept for the layout of the scene that needed to be designed, following which additional characters would also be designed.
The design was simple and minimalistic so as to not overpower the functionality of the app, therefore ensuring that users were more engaged by the user experience. The app focused on utilizing the mobile camera to capture the area that required the new colour coat and with the use of a simple masking tool, users were able to replace colours from the available colour library to see how their walls would look with the new colour. Additional features allowed users to share their experience with others to complete the experience of the app.
Our QC team ran a final check to make sure that the app was on par with the client expectations before placing it in the Google and App store.
The aim was to create a simple prediction game for the cricket fans enjoying the most recent T20 cricket matches.
The game was centered on the T20 matches and targeted the fans from around the world who enjoyed predicting game outcomes and sharing it with friends. The app was an in-house project that combined our love of games, cricket and digital solutions, and we decided the best was forward was an easy prediction game that could be enjoyed by users of all ages.
We got together our team of designers and copy-writers to come up with the initial scope of the game and formulate the questions that would pave the way for the game. Our next step was laying down the designs for the game based on our initial wireframes.
Our team was excited about contributing to the game as we looked for more ways to improve the user experience. A challenge we faced was the time limitations with the T20 World-cup looming ahead, but that didn’t stop us from coming up with an exciting new game.
As with all good ideas the hard work sets in when setting the development in motion, however our team worked together to create a user friendly app that allowed users to enjoy a fun and interesting game alone or with friends.
