The Brief

As Sri Lanka's first "buy one, get one free" entertainment app, Slash was created by Turaballys, a well-known trading partnership in the nation. Its goal is to provide clients buy-one-get-one-free deals from a variety of leisure activities around the island. We were assigned with creating and implementing the coupons app that would make gathering and utilising coupons online convenient.

We began on a mission to develop a straightforward mobile application that would revolutionize the coupon experience in Sri Lanka. With a modern and friendly design concept, we aimed to create an app that captivates users through enticing visual elements and appealing typography. By integrating cutting-edge technologies like Flutter, we ensured a seamless user experience and effortless navigation. Our strategic approach included features such as Vendor Management and an intuitive payment portal, empowering business vendors to efficiently manage their discounts. The customer-focused design showcased coupon expenditure statistics to facilitate digital coupon purchases.

Challenge

Our primary challenge was to design and implement a coupons app that simplifies the process of gathering and utilizing online coupons for both customers and business vendors. We aimed to strike the perfect balance between a visually appealing user interface and a user-friendly experience. Additionally, integrating essential functionalities like Vendor Management and payment processing posed unique challenges that required innovative solutions.

Features

We incorporated an array of exciting features to enhance the functionality and user experience of the Slash Deals app. The interactive UI ensures a visually appealing and engaging experience for users. Our comprehensive Coupon Management system allows vendors to effectively advertise their discounts and offers. Vendor Management empowers business vendors to efficiently manage their operations. The Favorites Page enables users to save and access coupons conveniently. Personal Recommendations provide tailored suggestions based on user preferences. The Payment Portal ensures a seamless and secure payment process. Finally, QR code scanning simplifies the coupon redemption process for customers.
