Strategy

Our strategy involved extensive research, collaboration with GIZ, and the Sri Lankan Ministry of Wildlife and Forest Conservation to gather vital information about the park. We focused on designing an intuitive UI and seamless UX that catered to diverse users. Implementing offline functionality and multi-language support ensured accessibility for all tourists. By incorporating immersive features, we created an engaging platform that enriches the safari experience while encouraging responsible and sustainable exploration of Wilpattu National Park.

Challenge

The main challenge was designing an app with limited connectivity that catered to diverse users while providing rich content and features to create an engaging experience without compromising on sustainability and responsible tourism in Wilpattu National Park.

Features

We included features such as virtual and guided tours, an interactive map, and a rating system to enhance users' safari experiences. Multi-language support (English, Sinhala, and Tamil) ensured accessibility for a wider audience. The app also offered comprehensive park information, including history, flora, fauna, laws, and safety measures. Our 360-panoramic views provided an immersive experience, while the offline mode addressed connectivity issues, ensuring users wouldn't get lost or miss out on vital information during their visit to Wilpattu National Park.
